The total minutes of funk comes to about fifty. All songs were mixed and recorded at world famous Track Worx located in San Francisco's Mission District. Also on this record, playing the keyboards, the bass, and the guitar (wah-wah), is former Rap-A-Lot and Ghetto-Boys producer Jasper Bradley. Who is known for being the ASR-10 voo-doo doctor, bringing deleted samples back to life from the dead. I was hyped up when put out their first single from the album "Mad Ill" with dope lyrics and strong beats it was sick to get doubles on wax to juggles the beats. Just freshly released is the second single from the record "Cash Money" with "Bubble Up" and "Only In One Life Time" defiantly give you a sample of why you should get off your ass and go out and buy or jack this record. It is for sure worth the effort. Peace PokerOne.

Juju and Psycholess, the names that ring bells and set off alarms in your area. The Beatnuts drops their 3rd platter a musical Massacre which is a definite year in banger before the Y2K. With guess stars like the Biz Mark on the track "Your a Clown", and "Turn it Out" with Greg Nice, which we've all peeped the sample from the video. "Watch Out Now", which is the first single off the album Musical Massacre. But that's not all with tracks like, "Beatnuts Forevea" with the Nuts catchin' mad wreck over this phat track that leaves you stuck. "Coco taso" with the RSC DJ Tony Touch comin' off on that mad latin lingo tip and "Puffin' on the Cloud" for the melo head type shit. So save your lunch money and watch out for the courtyard bullies and get the Beatnuts. word.

Aight, for starters, the film was cool if you like Donnie Brosko mixed with a little Deep Cover and just about anything else you've seen gansta wise...but like always with street films staring rap artists (L.L. Cool J), the soundtracks are always better than the film. But enuf of dat, lets talk about the real shit , the music. The first single I know you've heard by now, "Tear It Off" by Method Man and Red Man and be on the look out on they new shit together. My favorite joint, "The Specialists" by Ali Vegas who rips shit up and be on the look out for this kid. Next up "How to Rob" by 50cents and the Mad Rapper. This joint is reminisent of Biggie's Classic "Dreams of Fuckin' and R&B Bitch" with 50cents droppin' some of the illest shit about other fools and they riches and how he's catchin' them slippin'. Capone and Noriega drops one with the lox Mob Deep comes through with a remix of Quite Storm from their new album. But lets not forget the ladies, there's dat smooth shit too, with R kelly, Jagged Edge with Jamie Dupre and Imagin on somethin' about Love for all yall pretty smooth panty gettas. So to some it all up when are they gonna make make a movie to match the sound track.. word

With no where to go but up this kid Memphis Bleek is no dout a rising star in the biz of rap music . With his debut on Jay Z classic first album "Resonable Dout", on the track "Coming Of Age" with this he let the world know who Memphis Bleek is and with numerous guest shot's which kept him in your ear until he was ready for the world with his own album "Coming Of Age". On his own shit, Memphis Bleek comes off strong on tracks like "Who's Sleeping", "Stay Alive In Nyc", "Every Body " and "My Hood To Yo Hood" featuring (Beanie Siegel) which keeps this track pumping except for at times this album reminds me of a Jay Z album in stead of a Memphis Bleek album. But over all with the tight production and the way this kid flows its a shure winner for the Jay Z fans. Yall smell meh.

Here's a local group called the LootPack given you that old school flavor with their 24 track LP by WildChild and Madlib and DJ Romes!!!. The standout tracks are "Level Zero" featuring OhNo and Medafoar. "Liquid Fusion" featuring the Alkaholiks and Defari. And "Law of Physics". I could mention more but that would take to much tme and space and I really want you to peep their shit out. Overall this is not for the weak of beat but the lyrically inclined and that just want these kids are comin' from. So like I said before, peep it, the sound pieces: Da Antidote!....

"Sure Shot Redemption" (Black Pearl/Ground Control/Nu Gruv) "Flava Of The Month" and "Stroblight Honey" are just two of the classic joints that Black Sheep has laced us with in the past. However, after two albums, Dres and Mr. Lawnge have parted ways. But, being the "Black Sheep" that he is, Dres has come correct on his new solo LP aptly titled "Sure Shot Redemption". This album has fifteen hot new tracks that feature blazing vocab by The Legion, Chi-Ali (who still has that "Funky Lemonade",) R&B crooner Horace Brown, and others. Tracks to check for are "As I Look Back", "Hi & Lo", "Grand Groove", and "Tru Kings". Watch out kids, Dres is back and his passing out pink slips!
